Story Idea 1

In an urban city, many busy workers rush two and fro, passing along on their way to work. None of them stop and look straight ahead, none noticing the young child standing by himself at the side of the street. He is alone,. And no one even gives him a side glance. However, he seems very out of place- unlike the other people on the street, this small child is clad in a black ninja guise, complete with a mask, obscuring everything but his sharp eyes which stare straight ahead. He stands stationary, and no one bothers to pay any attention to the child, far too preoccupied with their own daily routine.


The child also pays no attention to the people. He only stands upright, legs slightly apart and arms crossed, with a determined look in his eyes. The ties of his mask billow in a slight wind. In front of him, a small hand made sign sits, with the words “Fight Me” scrawled onto it with a cheap marker. In front of the sign, a plastic sword lays, and an identical sword hangs around the young ninja's belt.


A man now approaches. He seems different from the rest of the crowd, as he is dressed casually and is walking slower. He does not seem very busy or rushed and saunters his way over t where the young ninja is standing. Unlike everyone else in the crowd, he stops in front of the ninja, a cheeky grin n his face. The ninja doesn't react. The man asks the ninja is he wants a fight, and the little ninja does not reply. The man laughs and asks again, only for the ninja to look down at the sword and back at the man. The man laughs some more and then accepts the ninja's proposition, picking up the sword and comically striking a pose, making fun of the child.


The ninja at first is still at first but then takes a single step forward and draws his sword. The man laughs again and and makes more comical gestures and noises, not taking the child seriously at all. The ninja, with his sword, makes a quick pointing gesture, as if to summon someone.


From surrounding buildings and plants, many ninja come out of hiding, each bearing their own weapons and all in a matching attire. However, these ninja are much older then the little ninja, and look much more menacing. The man is shocked, and drops his sword, and is glued to the ground. The little ninja lowers his sword to point at the men. At once the bigger ninja all yell a fearsome battle cry and charge towards the man, flailing their plastic weaponry.


It suddenly hits the man that he's going to be chased down by ninja and he snaps out of his confusion, turning around and running as fast as he can to escape the ninja hoard. The little ninja from the start, who hasn't gone to chase the man, has a triumphant look on his face. He picks up the man's discarded sword from the ground and then places in back in front of the “Fight Me” sign, and stands back in his place, waiting for another foolish traveler.

This story was based around this article. This story is very comedic and humorous. I found it hilarious and unbelievable when I read the article and I think it would make a very surreal film.
